Cacao Tour in San Rafel

Our tour, located at Finca La Fortuna, near Tayrona Park, invites participants to discover the secrets of this precious crop from its origin to the final product. During the tour, visitors have the opportunity to explore the cacao fields, learn about the different stages of its cultivation and transformation, and participate in interactive activities such as harvesting the pods and the artisanal production of cacao products.

This is what you’ll find in your experience

This wonderful experience begins with a transfer from your accommodation in the city of Santa Marta or on the way to the Tayrona National Natural Park that will take us to the Vereda de San Rafael where we will find the La Fortuna farm and its charming cocoa crops. Upon arrival, we will be given an introduction to how the farm was built after times of conflict. We will also begin a tour to learn more about how this plant full of magical flavors is grown . Later, we will take a break where we will be surprised with a spectacular snack based on cocoa produced on the farm .

Our guides will show us step by step the transformation of this fruit to get a product called Artisanal Chocolate which we can eat after having made it, then we will visit a refreshing well called Pozo del Amor where we can enjoy a comfortable bath and then return to the city of Santa Marta.
