Live an unforgettable adventure in the Magdalena region with our “Macondo in the Clouds” experience. This exciting tour will take you through the lush landscapes of Minca, where unspoiled nature and local culture intertwine to create a unique experience. At 5:00 am, you will be picked up by our driver at your accommodation and you will be ready to begin your day of exploration. At sunrise, the fresh mountain air and birdsong will welcome you as you prepare to explore the stunning surroundings of Campano. From there, you venture through dense forests and winding trails where you can discover bird species endemic to the region and also enjoy a spectacular waterfall, where you can cool off and connect with the wild beauty of nature. We will arrive at the waterfall around 8:30 am. Continuing towards the imposing Cerro Kennedy, you will be greeted by panoramic views that will take your breath away, while learning about the fascinating history and biodiversity of the region from our expert local guides. At the cozy hostel in Altos de la Sierra, you will immerse yourself in the local culture while enjoying delicious traditional dishes and exploring a home-grown garden full of authentic flavors. We will arrive at the hostel around 12:40 pm. In the afternoon, you will relax by a campfire under the starry sky, listening to local myths and legends while sharing laughter and experiences with other travelers and the hostel hosts. After a restful night, you will wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise from an exclusive viewpoint, where the first rays of sunlight will illuminate the landscape with golden and pink hues. We will wake up early, around 4:30 am, to be ready for the sunrise. The day will continue with a descent to the La María farm, where the aroma of coffee will welcome you to a homemade breakfast full of flavor and tradition. Then, you will venture on an exciting horseback ride through the picturesque landscapes of Los Moros, enjoying the serenity of nature while immersing yourself in the local culture and cooling off in the crystal-clear Córdoba River. We will arrive at Los Moros around 9:00 am. At the end of the day, you will return to Minca with your heart full of memories and your mind full of new experiences, carrying with you the echo of the mountain and the warmth of its people.
