Start your day at 6:00 a.m. with a warm welcome that offers a first taste of the region’s genuine hospitality, as the sunrise paints golden reflections over the waters of the Ciénaga. At 6:30 a.m., embark on a journey to the panoramic viewpoints, where breathtaking landscapes reveal the charm and tradition of the stilt villages. Around 8:00 a.m., arrive in Buenavista to visit the Mangrove Nursery —a natural sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of the unique biodiversity that thrives in this ecosystem. By 9:30 a.m., continue your adventure to Nueva Venecia, where you’ll enjoy an authentic cultural and gastronomic experience: tasting local delicacies, meeting artisans, and discovering the living heritage that floats upon the water. At 10:00 a.m., navigate through the canals of Nueva Venecia alongside a local guide who will share the fascinating stories and traditions of this magical village on stilts. Finally, at 11:30 a.m., indulge in a traditional lunch at a local restaurant —the perfect ending to a day filled with culture, connection, and nature at its purest.
