How to get there by transport PUBLIC
- Take a public bus at the city's market (departure every 20 minutes).
- The bus journey takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
- Taxi option available for a faster but more expensive journey.
- Upon arriving at the entrance of Tayrona Park, walk for an hour and twenty minutes through a humid and wooded jungle with cliffs and stones.
- Boat transport alternative from Taganga beaches, taking about 1 hour.
- Once inside Tayrona Park, explore the beaches of Cañaveral, reefs, the pool, Arenillas, and finally, Cabo San Juan del Guía.
How to get there by transport PRIVATE
- Use a private vehicle and head towards the Caribe trunk road in the direction of Riohacha.
- Drive to the main entrance of Tayrona Park, known as "el Zaino."
- The "el Zaino" entrance is approximately 34 kilometers from the urban perimeter of Santa Marta.
