To get to the beach from downtown Santa Marta, you have two main options:
By bus:
The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
Look for the route to Pozos Colorados, checking the board at the front of the bus or asking. The bus should indicate "Aeropuerto" (Airport).
The duration may vary depending on the starting point and current traffic.
By taxi:
This option is a bit faster but also more expensive.

How to get there by transport PRIVATE

To reach Pozos Colorados Beach by driving your own car from downtown Santa Marta, follow these steps:
Start at Carrera 4° with Calle 22.
Continue straight along Carrera, ascending Ziruma Hill for approximately 6 kilometers until reaching Rodadero.
Once in Rodadero, continue along the Troncal del Caribe road for seven and a half kilometers until reaching Pozos Colorados Beach.
