• How to get there by transport PUBLIC

  • To get to the beach from downtown Santa Marta, you have two main options:
  • By bus:
  • The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
  • Look for the route to Pozos Colorados, checking the board at the front of the bus or asking. The bus should indicate "Aeropuerto" (Airport).
  • The duration may vary depending on the starting point and current traffic.
  • By taxi:
  • This option is a bit faster but also more expensive.
  • Make sure the taxi has a meter or agree on the price before starting the journey.

  How to get there by transport PRIVATE

  • To reach Pozos Colorados Beach by driving your own car from downtown Santa Marta, follow these steps:
  • Start at Carrera 4° with Calle 22.
  • Continue straight along Carrera, ascending Ziruma Hill for approximately 6 kilometers until reaching Rodadero.
  • Once in Rodadero, continue along the Troncal del Caribe road for seven and a half kilometers until reaching Pozos Colorados Beach.
