How to get there by transport PUBLIC
- To get to the beach from downtown Santa Marta, you have two main options:
- By bus:
- The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
- Look for the route to Pozos Colorados, checking the board at the front of the bus or asking. The bus should indicate "Aeropuerto" (Airport).
- The duration may vary depending on the starting point and current traffic.
- By taxi:
- This option is a bit faster but also more expensive.
- Make sure the taxi has a meter or agree on the price before starting the journey.
How to get there by transport PRIVATE
- To reach Pozos Colorados Beach by driving your own car from downtown Santa Marta, follow these steps:
- Start at Carrera 4° with Calle 22.
- Continue straight along Carrera, ascending Ziruma Hill for approximately 6 kilometers until reaching Rodadero.
- Once in Rodadero, continue along the Troncal del Caribe road for seven and a half kilometers until reaching Pozos Colorados Beach.
