Sendero Taganga Cultural
Taganga is an indigenous fishing village that was established in 1719 as a pearl and fish entrustment. During the colonial era, the natives were forced to extract pearls from the bottom of the bay due to their wealth. The reconstruction of the church in 1834 is also a highlight of this ancestral territory. Join us on this memorable experience and discover the identity and main source of income of this indigenous community.

Itinerary
This is what you’ll find in your experience
Daily departure from your hotel at 8:40 am in an air-conditioned vehicle, we take a 25-minute tour to reach this magical place, full of nature and beautiful landscapes. But above all full of the Taganga Indigenous culture. The tour begins with an explanation of everything that will be our experience in this place, our guides are native and very knowledgeable of all the information to share with you. Our first stop is at the Taganga Church, there we will receive all the history that there is in that place, this being the first basilica in South America. We continue the tour by visiting the heritage house, where we will learn about the history and culture of this ancestral town. We head to the beach where we will take a boat to go snorkeling. We will be there for 1 hour. We return to Playa Grande, there you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch of the region and enjoy some time at the beach. WHAT IS INCLUDED?
