Itinerary

This is what you’ll find in your experience

The experience begins with a transfer from Santa Marta, either from your accommodation or via Tayrona Park, to the San Rafael village, home of La Fortuna Farm. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the local community, who will share the history of the farm, the transformation of the territory after times of conflict, and the creation of the sustainable cacao project. Next, you will take an interpretive walk through the cacao plantations, learning about planting, care, and harvesting, while connecting with local farming knowledge and ancestral traditions. During the day, there will be a break to enjoy a snack made with artisanal cacao produced on the farm. Afterwards, local guides will lead a cacao transformation workshop, showing step by step how to turn the cacao fruit into artisanal chocolate, which you can prepare and taste fresh. The experience concludes with a visit and swim at the Pozo del Amor, a natural pool with crystal-clear waters, perfect for relaxing. Finally, you will return to Santa Marta, ending a day full of flavor, nature, and connection with the community.
